Main features
Innovative care allowed by the use of the FX-Move™ device in the posturo-kinetic deficits is a direct outcome of the collaboration between the Mobility-Plasticity research laboratory, specialized in the health innovation, neurosciences and aging, and the FOVEA Interactive know-how in the vision system development dedicated to movement analysis. This system offers the following functionalities :
Adapted exercises in a virtual environment
Patient interacts with the system by means of two game pads, allowing a total movement freedom. The FX-Move™ system is able to do real time analysis of game pads displacements, which are represented on the screen as two gloved hand pictures. The fun virtual environment is able to direct the patient attention on the screen, and to maintain his motivation. Movement trajectory is recorded in the FX-Move™ device, and results can be directly visualized by the patient, just after the exercises. This immediate feedback allows a better acceptance of the rehabilitation program. Difficulty level can be adapted to the patient needs and to his progress. More than the existing exercises library, other program could be developed in response to a specific need of the therapist.
A complete and precise posturo-kinetic assessment
Coupled with a force plate, the FX-Move™ is able to do a posturo-kinetic assessment divided in 3 dimensions :
- Static analysis
- Stability margins
- Quality assessment of postural control during movement
Data are recorded for each patient, and could be easily visualized at posteriori on the computer application. These data can be used as a reliable support in the therapeutic decision.
An easily used PC application for patient following
All data coming from the FX-Move™ device can be easily transferred towards the PC application (wired link - Wifi). This application is divided in 4 essential parts :
- Administrative informations
- Clinical informations
- Results synthesis from the different exercises
- Results synthesis from the posturo-kinetic assessment
An internet connexion allows an update of the last functionalities attributed to the FX-Move device (new functions, exercises library, …).
